Philip John Galati was hired back in July 2011, by Princess Angelique Monét (owner of Greta Joanne Entertainment) as the Production and Project Manager of Nothing On Television TV (the TV division of GJE), available on DISH Network as a Video On Demand channel, and for those who don't have a DISH subscription, it can be viewed through DishOnline.com. Angelique Monét, Renaissaince Woman is listed on the channel, Directed by Philip John Galati.

'Deceptive' NYC Theatrical Premiere

Greta Joanne Entertainment and AM Releasings held it's Red Carpet Gala for Deceptive this past Thursday October 28th to a nice cround of over 100 press, celebrities, cast, crew, friends and family. It won the Audiance Choice Award at the Hamptons Black International Film Festival in September and the reviews keep coming in with two thumbs up. P. J. Galati (Producer, Co-Producer & Editor) attended with Lauren Logiudice (Model/Actress). The main cast pictured below from right to left, Meah Pace, Shiek Mahmud-Bey, Angelique Monét (writer, producer, executive producer and lead actress of Deceptive) and Jas Anderson, walked the red carpet and took interviews with several Press outlets. The movie was certified by Why Blue Matters.com which has a subscriber base of over 150,000 people world wide.

The Examiner.com was more then impressed with Deceptive and went deeper then just the film, finding out what else Writer, Producer and Lead Actress Angelique Monét is up too. CNN iReport gave the movie a five star rating review. Deceptive concludes it's week long Theatrical Release through Big Cinema's [239 East 59th St. NYC] this Thursday Nov. 4th. The film will reopen in 2011 at select cities around the country.

Hamptons Black International Film Festival

The second annual Hamptons Black International Film Festival took place during Labor Day weekend, September 2nd through the 5th 2010. Showcasing films from all over the world, focusing on films from people of African Decent which need a platform to be shown. The festival is open to any and all good films, P. J. Galati's film A Day For a Dark Sky with it's multi-cultural cast, was screened during the Cinema Petit short film series which opened on Friday, September 3rd at the Baystreet Theatre in Sag Harbor. Here P. J. is picutured with festival host Sherwin XL, who also starred in the film series The World According to Pop-Pop Dirty Foots. Bluecast Productions took a new direction with it's mandate by supporting the festival as one of it's Premiere Sponser's. The Festival Founder and Executive Director is none other then multi-media talent Angelique Monét, pictured here with Sean Kingston at the festival opening Gala. Despite a looming hurricane threat, Ms. Monét managed to pull off an unforgettable event which had Hampton local's requesting more films to be shown through out the year. The festival's signature Cinema on the Beach event closed the proceedings Saturday night, after the screening of Deceptive which has just been booked for a theatrical release through Big Cinema's on Oct. 29th, 2010. Deceptive is the first film to date, to ever have a theatrical release without having representation through an established film distributor.

'Pressure' at the ABFF

Pressure is a new short film from Fruition Productions, in association with 40th Floor Productions. Directed by André Kendall and Executive Produced by Kennedy Ross, this intense thriller is gripping and enticing with a twist ending. The Film stars Rob Rush, Ashley Taylor, Carla Magnuson and Christopher Hernandez.

P. J. Galati is the Co-Concept and Story Developer with André Kendal, the film was written by Kennedy Ross. P. J. was brought on board the project as the film's Director of Photography and Editor. All special effects in-camera and in post production were handled by Bluecast Productions. Pressure can be viewed on the short films page or by clicking here.

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2010

P. J. Galati and Bluecast Productions are hosted by Angelique Monét and Greta Joanne Entertainment in France at the Festival De Cannes. The feature film Deceptive has it's world premeire at Cannes on Tuesday May 18th, 2010. Angelique Monét is the films writer, producer and starring actress, P. J. Galati is the films associate producer, editor and post production manager. In the Cannes Short Film Corner P. J.'s action/sci-fi film A Day For a Dark Sky has it's world premiere along side Angelique's romantic drama Engaging Before Sunset. Signed to Direct 'Gunner's Rift'

Late last night during a short break in the full on French Riviera - Cannes Film Festival send off party at the Sutra Lounge, P. J. Galati officially signed on with Dream X-Treme Productions to be the Director and Editor for the new independent feature film Gunner's Rift. Executive Producer and film lead role as Gunner, Rick Borgea (Twists of Fate, The Last Gamble) has been in talks with P. J. about his involvment in the film for the last several weeks. This unusal story about two brothers on opposite sides of the law, investigating a mysterious murder, is slated to begin principle photography in June 2010. Joining Rick is a full cast of professoinals, Robert Funero (The Suprano's), Angel Salazar (Scarface), Steve Dash (Friday the 13th pt. 2), Al Linea (HBO's Boardwalk Empire) just to name a few.
